In the digital age, nudity might be a form of immorality. A lot of the early stuff I’ve seen in passing is entirely unappealing. So when is the first ten for you? How far back can you find such an immortal legend, someone that might still demand tribute from some lonely Jack or Jilling archivist a millennia from now, long after the rest of us are forgotten?
Well the guys in straight porn are nearly uniformly unappealing from my childhood through my middle age and still are for some reason I cannot explain (Manuel Ferrara a notable exception, and Lemmy’s Nodachi). A thousand years from now? Nobody current, styles change. Oldest that I think someone might still like? Venus of Willendorf.
Within the age of photography and film, Greta Garbo must reasonably be amongst the early “tens”. Whilst don’t know of any true nudes of her, there are certainly plenty of sufficiently risque captions from her movies.
